Known for her use of strong shapes and saturated colors, Sonia Delauney broke down many barriers as a female artist in the Deco era. Her geometric abstractions, interesting use of fabrics and understanding of cubism led to Sonia becoming the first living female artist to exhibit a retrospective show at the Louvre Museum. Our Sonia design highlights the unique shape and color of this special stone beautifully.

This one-of-a-kind 4.70 ct cushion cut bi-color Montana Sapphire is set in a half bezel and prongs, framed on two sides with a .24 ct diamond half halo. The sapphire has yellow and blue coloring, making it very unique. The entire design is set on a rounded high polish band that measures ~ 1.8mm in width. This gorgeous 4.70 ct stone is highly unusual and extremely rare since less than 5% of rough Montana Sapphires will yield a cut stone larger than 1 ct.
