These 14k yellow gold huggie earrings feature pear opals, set in a high polish bezel. This pair features a huggie clasp closure.
The opal in this design is a doublet. This means that the opal has a thin layer of onyx on the back of the stone. This technique is used to add strength and enhance the color of the opal.
