Reports To: Chief Executive Officer and Founder

Location: Denver Metro Area - must be local or willing to relocate

Salary Range: $100,000-$130,000 based on experience level

Benefits: Medical insurance, 401k match, paid time off, possible monthly bonuses based on sales goals.

Job Purpose Summary: The Director of Marketing is responsible for the overall strategy, development, and execution of marketing initiatives across all channels to support growth and achieve company goals at Sarah O. Jewelry.  Our ideal candidate has experience developing and executing overarching brand strategy, luxury retail, e-commerce and in-store marketing strategy and multi-channel campaigns while managing and inspiring a team. He/she will be comfortable with day-to-day marketing activities, as well as long-term strategy, with the ability to build and adapt to changing needs.

Key Responsibilities:

  • Provide holistic management of the overarching brand strategy, standards and positioning ensuring consistent execution across internal and external communications
  • Guide the ongoing evolution of e-commerce/website strategy with a heavy focus on increasing online sales, while maintaining a clear strategy for driving customers in to brick and mortar locations
  • Drive the strategy and development of 360 marketing campaigns that drive brand awareness, user acquisition, engagement, and growth while maintaining the Sarah O. brand identity
  • Oversee the execution of marketing activities from start to finish while collaborating with key stakeholders and leveraging internal processes, including but not limited to: retail website, product launches, promotions, social media, digital media, PR, email marketing, influencer marketing, and events
  • Manage and develop a high performing team; develop plan to strategically scale team alongside business growth
  • Create and measure key business KPIs to support overall company goals; develop and execute recommendations to optimize performance
  • Manage key agency relationships and timelines to ensure execution of all marketing initiatives. Act as the liaison for all promotional and press opportunities. 
  • Lead media strategy, building a full-funnel approach to grow our audience and customer base. Leverage reporting and analysis to drive strategic direction, test, and optimize programs.
  • Prepare and oversee the annual marketing budget
  • Identify opportunities to support the expansion of the Sarah O. brand and footprint locally, nationally, and globally
  • Analyze customer insights, consumer trends, market analysis, and marketing best practices to build successful strategies
  • Accepts other responsibilities and duties as assigned

Required Qualifications

  • Bachelor's Degree in Marketing or related field
  • 10+ years of relevant experience preferably with specific experience managing luxury goods/fashion/retail brands
  • Deep understanding of e-commerce and how to scale/grow a business via marketing as it relates to both online and brick and mortar sales
  • Proven experience developing marketing plans and campaigns across multiple channels
  • Ability to work autonomously to lead the overall brand and marketing strategy
  • Leadership experience managing a team with demonstrated ability to positively influence within a fast-paced, growth environment
  • Demonstrated experience in creating and directing brand strategy
  • Experience with paid media, marketing automation, and CRM tools
  • Strategic, analytical, and creative thinker
  • Excellent communication skills and strong executive presence in front of customers, employees, vendors, and potential partners.
  • Strong project management skills with ability to manage multiple tasks/projects at one time, think critically, and adapt quickly in a flexible environment
  • Entrepreneurial spirit / self-starter with strong initiative, ownership, and accountability for business outcomes

Sales Associate

Job Purpose Summary: On our team, everyone plays a critical role. As a Sales Associate you will provide a world-class customer experience in order to meet Sarah O. company goals through product knowledge, personal engagement, and luxury service. This position will also be responsible for assisting with daily administrative activities that support the overall sales function and team. 

Reports to: Store Manager

Location: Tennyson or Dairy Block 

Type: Full Time position, Flexible Schedule (Weekend & Holiday Coverage Required) 

Hourly Range: $20-$23 (Depending on experience)

Key Responsibilities: 

  • Creates a luxury customer experience by greeting customers, building rapport, listening to their jewelry needs, and guiding them through a smooth purchase process 
  • Proactively educates self about fine jewelry, the Sarah O. brand, and internal processes 
  • Informs customers about relevant products, events, promotions, policies and services 
  • Assists in keeping the entire store environment organized and clean
  • Assists in preparation for in-store events, peak seasons, and new marketing campaigns 
  • Maintains overall appearance of case displays by re-merchandising, cleaning and straightening throughout the day
  • Communicates inventory levels and opportunities with Sales Leadership 
  • Assists with taking customer orders, repairs, answering inquiries by contacting customers via phone or email, and preparing order shipments 
  • Follows internal processes and procedures accurately and consistently 
  • Maintains positive working relationships throughout the company 
  • Assists with team projects, as needed 
  • Collaborates with with appropriate team members to successfully accomplish hard things
  • Approaches every client interaction with the Sarah O. core value that “Everyone deserves something beautiful” mindset
  • Maintains an open mindset to be actively and positively present at all times for customers, whether it’s an appointment or walk-in interaction 
  • Correctly and efficiently books customer appointments. Documents to standard following client interaction 
  • Shows up for self, the store and your team by being on time, in proper dress code with a positive and proactive attitude, ready to have a fun and successful day 
  • Accepts other duties as assigned 

Job Requirements 

  • 2+ years in a retail environment or related experience. Luxury or fine jewelry experience is a plus
  • Strong organizational, interpersonal, and communication skills (written and verbal) 
  • Demonstrated ability to build and maintain positive relationships with all customers 
  • Flexible and able to quickly adapt in a fast-paced environment 
  • Detail oriented and able to handle multiple tasks simultaneously 
  • Self-starter, Proactively seeks out projects 
  • Able to create a positive work environment through teamwork and collaboration 
  • Works a regular schedule with requests off conducive with traffic levels, season, and fair to hourly expectations (Weekend and holiday availability is required)
