This 18k yellow gold vintage French Love Token features a large round knife-edge design with lab grown ruby baguettes and a round hand-cut natural diamond.
Handcrafted by the famous jeweler Alphonse Augis in the early-to-mid 1900s, this token is engraved with the famous phrase “+ qu’hier – que demain”, which translates to “More than yesterday. Less than tomorrow." A sentiment that expresses ever-growing, eternal love.

The Meaning Behind The Token
French jeweler, Alphonse Augis, immortalized the phrase plus qu'hier, moins que demain, which originated from a famous love poem from Rosemonde Gérard to her husband, the writer Edmond Rostand: For, you see, each day I love you more, today more than yesterday and less than tomorrow.
