Elopement: Charlie + Larissa

It's not often that real life elopements have us gushing in the same way our frequent styled shoots do, but Charlie and Larissa's stunning ceremony overlooking Loveland Pass has us loading up our packs with champagne and strapping on our hiking boots. Keep scrolling to see the magical moments captured by Megan and Nate Kantor of Cedar and Pines Photography

THE RINGS

Larissa's engagement ring features a stunning oval pink sapphire as the center stone with an intricate, vintage-inspired diamond halo surrounding it. She added an additional touch of sparkle with small, delicate diamonds on the band. Completing the set is a modern take on the classic diamond wedding band with alternating bubbles and diamonds.

Charlie chose a timeless, classic rounded band in rose gold to match Larissa's existing rings. The entire set perfectly complements the soft pink of the Morganite in the engagement ring.

THE DETAILS

“We were driving back to Denver and last minute decided to drive up Loveland pass since we had never been there. That’s when it [the engagement] happened. It was intimate and emotional, my favorite life moment. We decided to get married in the same place about a month later. ”

“Charlie and I said our personal vows in private, and we ran around the snow until we couldn’t feel our fingers. Our adventurous spirits fell more in love during this experience. It was everything we both wanted and a beautiful way to start our marriage.”

“I knew I’d marry him the first time I saw him stress out at an airport on our way to Budapest. One of us is always calm (usually him) while the other one is probably stress crying (me). But when the roles reversed I truly believed we would be able to get through anything together. ”
